Things We Learned From Sex And The City

It seems that the craze for this series is not slowing down, and that it inevitably affects our lives. As much as I love the famous foursome from Manhattan, we have to ask – is this the real life? Many movies teach us all sorts of stuff, but it seems like that Sex and The City really had a bad influence of many women from all around the world. Here, we are listed some things that have been bad for our lives, and every fan of this famous tv show should read this. Take a look.

Everyone wears designer clothes

Inevitably we accept that life in Manhattan requires wearing designer clothes. Okay, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte maybe I can afford, but Keri writes a weekly column for the newspaper and mediocre though he always manages to look like the cover of mammals. Let us remind you the closet full of Manolo Blanik shoes, dresses and accessories designed and everyday outings. What a life – not a real pity.

Apartment Renting

“Sex and the City” is the true impact that the dream of his own corner in Manhattan. We all fell in love with Karin small, girly little apartment. However, when a real-life look at how difficult it is and what it costs to rent such apartments we see that a journalist never would not be able to afford  that.

We remember all the famous scene when Carrie was offended that Charlotte didn’t offered to borrowed money to buy the apartment from Aidan? When it became normal to demand money from a friend or that she feels bad that he did not offer? We must not be so harsh, real-life friends of ours doens’t have Wedding rings in a box which costs the same as our entire apartment.

Luxury Travel

What we ordered this series, especially the second part of the film is that luxury is available anywhere, anytime. Eh, we’re not all that lucky as Samantha arrive for a business meeting gets paid trip to the most luxurious suite, with the ability to lead and friends.

True love will always find you

Thanks to the influence of this series, we use the fact that whatever we are – selfish or rude – we always find true love. A lot of women have changed their lives would not have felt a touch of “Sex and the City.” No matter how beautiful their lives are, we do not believe that any managed to endure everything that Kerry suffered with the Big and eventually left him.

Maybe this series is sometimes unrealistic, but millions of women and after all these years, they agree on one thing – when “Sex and the City” is concerned, it’s nice to live in a lie.
